Our first night in Sevilla, we went to a tiny little place called Bar Alfalfa. The tapas are very yummy and VERY cheap, the music is funky and awesome and the bartenders are too. We've been back there 3 times since arriving in Sevilla, breaking our rule of visiting a different place each chance we get. Our goal is to try each thing on the menu (including 4 differents kinds of bruschetta) before we leave for Tarifa tomorrow and I think we're going to come REALLY close. The one item we will NOT try is the Salmorejo (Tomato pudding - sometimes with bacon bits). In Sevilla, we've decided to slow down a bit on the turisty type things, preferring to simply walk around and absord the city. As such, we have done a LOT of walking... probably more than 5 miles each day. On day 1 we did the walking tour from lonely planet, but didn't actually go INTO any of the historic sites or museums or what-not. Instead, we just stopped at a Starbucks halfway through and dropped 8 Euro ($12) on reliable northwest caffeinated goodness; iced, of course... did we mention that it's quite a bit warmer now that we've moved farther south (29-32 C).
